 Today we had to write a poem that comes from the heart. Here is my poem

 Our test was today on the play “Fences”. The multiple choice was easy and the writing response was kinda easy. I chose to do question 12 because it was simple to write about how deceiving Troy can be. I hated Troy so much in the movie and  even though I hated him, he was still a good character and had sorta a character development even if it wasn’t in a good way.

 Ms cook was suppose to teach the lesson, but she wasn’t here today. Instead of Mr rease teaching the lesson we just had a chill day and did some vocabulary words. I enjoy doing vocabulary because it’s easy and you get done in 30 minutes so you can just relax or work on some other assignments.

 Today we finished the movie fences. The movie was pretty good but also a little confusing. I liked the book better because the scenarios I imagined in my head were better than the movie. I do hope we get to watch another movie though based of a book.

 We read the play “Fences” in class again. This time we didn’t have to annotate but we still had to remember important events that happened. The story is really good so far and I might even watch the movie. So far though I am hating Troy because he’s so uptight and annoying, he always talking

 Today we were introduced to this new play called “fences”. Before we read we had to write what we think fences meant and what were they used for. This means either mentally or physically. Because this was a play, some people had to play roles of the characters which was interesting 

Our test was today in Mr rease class and I almost died of boredom. The multiple choice was easy as to be expected but the writing portion almost made me pull my hair out. I was already tired and had a headache from testing in first period so taking ANOTHER test didn’t really help and this really affected my performance. I barely even had enough time to make it to the last constructed response.

 In class today ms cook taught our class. We read another poem by Robert frost which I enjoyed because it shows how we need some sort of duality in our life. You wouldn’t know what good things are if you never experienced that bad parts. Todays lesson was really engaging and I’m enjoying the poems so far.

 Robert frost poems sounds like he yearns for something, lik his childhood for example. I got this from yesterdays and todays poem. Maybe it was because he grew up on a farm working instead of doing thing’s children should be doing. Even though I’m enjoying the Robert frost poems I still fill like I connect more with langstons because I’m black and I had a good childhood unlike Robert frost.

Today we learned about a new poet; Robert frost. He grew up on a farm and graduated from Harvard because of his poetry. I prefer his poets over Emily dickinsons because his poems are more modern and easier to understand. Like every poem we made annotations and I’m glad we’re on a different poet besides Emily Dickinson and Langston Hughes.

Today ms cook taught our class again. It was pretty chill today, everyone who didn’t present on Thursday presented today and that’s about it. We also finished up our quiz from Thursday and turned that in as well. To close the week off I got to say that ambush is a well written, but I do wish I was able to read more of it.

 Today ms cook was teaching our class again. We had to present our projects about the story ambush in front of the class. As the summarizer, I went first because I had to summarize the story so my peers could understand what the story was about. I did really good and I got a 91 on the assignment and so did my partners.

 Today ms cook taught our class. We had to do this mini project about the story ambush. I was the summarizer so basically I just summarize the story. It was kind of hard because I wasn’t here that day they read it but I did get a little understanding of it.
